Gigi De Canio remains confident Catania “will have the strength to get out of this situation” after defeat to Napoli.
The Elefantini were beaten 2-1 at the Stadio San Paolo , though the heroics of goalkeeper Mariano Andujar kept the scoreline down.
“We have many players injured and others who are struggling to get 90 minutes into their legs, like Maxi Lopez,” De Canio told Sky Sport Italia.
“We played in a dignified manner against both Juventus and Napoli. We reacted well against the Partenopei tonight.
“We have the mental strength to get out of this situation.”
