Fernando Llorente was “very happy to have again scored past Real Madrid,” earning Juventus a 2-2 draw.
The Spaniard had also found the net at the Bernabeu in their 2-1 Champions League defeat last month.
“I am very happy to have again scored past Real Madrid. We played the first half very well and played good football, taking a deserved lead,” Llorente told Sky Sport Italia.
“It was tougher after the break, as Real Madrid kept possession better and we were chasing the ball, especially with players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.
“We are working on service and my teammates are getting to know me, so the more we play together the better it will be. I’m sure the crosses will come in better as time goes on.
“I think I can still give a lot more, gain more confidence and settle in, as I haven’t been here for long. I can help this team and hope every game can be an improvement for me.
“I do need to be more determined in front of goal, that’s something I’m working on and always think about in the box.”
