Radja Nainggolan has admitted that playing for Cagliari has damaged his national team chances.
The midfielder has been named in the Belgium squad for friendlies against Colombia and Japan this month, but has only played four times previously.
“I see Marouane Fellaini to Manchester United and Kevin De Bruyne to Chelsea,” he told Le Libre.
“And I realize that playing for Cagliari is a disadvantage.
“But it’s also true that I have enjoyed my best ever start to the season with Cagliari.
“I’ve had great games against Inter and Fiorentina.”
