Juventus’ Arturo Vidal says he’s disappointed to have been ruled out of Chile’s friendlies against England and Brazil.
The midfielder is now back in Turin after he sustained a muscle problem in the 3-0 win over Napoli last weekend.
“I’m very unhappy, it’s a shame that I will be missing from two such important matches,” noted the 26-year-old.
“The ties against England and Brazil will count as they will help the team prepare for the World Cup. I wanted to be a part of them.
“Now I just hope to recover as quickly as possible so that I can be ready for Juventus when the championship resumes after the international break.”
The Bianconeri, now just one point behind Roma, will travel to Livorno when Serie A starts again.
