Milan could reportedly have Stephan El Shaarawy back in the line-up against Celtic on November 26.
The forward has been out of action since September with a series of problems, most recently a micro-fracture.
He was not even in the squad that beat Swiss side Young Boys 3-1 on Saturday.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, El Shaarawy can be expected back on the bench against Genoa and in the line-up for the trip to Glasgow on November 26.
That will be a potentially decisive match for the Champions League, as Milan have five points, Ajax four and Celtic three.
