Eugenio Corini has claimed that he ‘knows Livorno very well’ as Chievo host the promoted team this weekend.
The Flying Donkeys play the Amaranto at Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi on Sunday, and the Coach has insisted that despite familiarity, his men will be facing a tough challenge.
“Livorno have always played with three at the back, five in midfield and two up front,” he told a Press conference.
“So in that respect we know them very well. But they are a really strong team, with a real sense of togetherness.
“Nicola has done a great job – their results speak for themselves.
“They’ve done well so far this season. Whenever they’ve come up against big teams, they’ve always performed.”
