Serie A side Cagliari have confirmed they will listen to offers for goalkeeper Michael Agazzi next month.
The ‘keeper’s stint in Sardinia is coming to an end given that he has refused to extend his contract which will expire in June.
“We haven’t frozen Agazzi out of the squad,” Rossoblu sporting director Nicola Salerno told TMW on Monday.
“I don’t know how certain voices are heard. The player is recovering from injury and he’s not in great shape on his return.
“Saying that, the player will be placed on the transfer market in January.”
Fiorentina have been paired with a custodian who was called-up by Italy boss Cesare Prandelli at the end of last season.
Cagliari, last month, signed former Real Madrid goalkeeper Antonio Adan who was available on a free transfer.
