Reports in the Italian Press this afternoon suggest that Genoa could make a double move for Giuseppe Sculli and Stephan El Shaarawy next month.
Il Secolo XIX have claimed that the Grifone will dip their toes in the transfer market over the winter, and will go for the Lazio wide man and the Milan striker.
Sculli has already spent some time at the Marassi, joining the club on loan in 2012, and would be open to a return.
However, a deal for El Shaarawy may be somewhat more challenging. The move would only be a short-term one until the end of the season, but the Rossoneri are reluctant to let the Italy international leave.
The 21-year-old has found playing time hard to come by this season after suffering from injury. Gian Piero Gasperini’s men had hoped to offer him guaranteed first team football, but Massimiliano Allegri’s side are reportedly unwilling to let the forward go out on loan.
