Giuseppe Sannino has been quick to deny suggestions that Palermo’s match against Inter last season was part of the Calcioscommesse scandal.
The betting probe has been brought back into the public’s attention on Tuesday after the home of Gennaro Gattuso was raided by police.
But the former Rosanero Coach has claimed that his side’s 1-0 win over the Nerazzurri was ‘a real game’.
“You just have to see my face after being sent off to see what I’m talking about,” he told Radio Sportiva.
“That was a real game.
“Football betting is something that is foreign to me. It amazes me, but [these allegations] hurt.”
