Genoa midfielder Juraj Kucka has admitted he was touched by his teammates show of support at the weekend.
The Slovenian is out until the end of the season after having knee surgery, but has conceded he was delighted after Andrea Bertolacci lifted up his shirt during the Grifone’s 1-1 draw with Atalanta, revealing a get well soon message.
“We played the right way during the game,” he told Corriere Mercantile. “The idea is there but we are still growing as a team.
“When Bertolacci scored and showed the message with my name on it, that gave me great pleasure.
“It has been a difficult few days for me.
“The affection shown towards me has been fantastic.”
