The representative of Domenico Criscito has revealed that Napoli came very close to signing his client in 2010.
The Zenit St Petersburg player is again being linked with the Azzurri, three years after the switch almost occurred.
“In 2010, Genoa reached an agreement with Napoli, but the move collapsed over contract terms,” Andrea D’Amico told Radio CRC.
“A move now? I can’t answer such a question because neither of the clubs have been in touch with me.
“If that doesn’t happen then we are talking about nothing.”
The full-back, 21 caps for Italy, moved to Russia in the summer of 2011 after Zenit paid €11m to Genoa for him.
