Fiorentina earn a victory on their travels after two consecutive defeats. Giuseppe Rossi scores his 23rd Serie A goal, the 14th of the current campaign. Sassuolo have lost their last four between League and Coppa Italia, failed to score in 341 minutes of Serie A football and boast the worst defensive record after leaking 36 goals.
Torino hadn’t amassed 25 points after 17 rounds since 1994-95 and the last time they won three on the trot was in November 2006. Ciro Immobile went up to 13 career goals with his first Serie A brace. Alessio Cerci set a new personal best with his ninth of the season and is the League’s top assist man with seven. Giuseppe Vives has scored only two Serie A goals and both of them were against Chievo, the other being in January 2009.
Chievo were unbeaten on their travels since a 1-0 at Roma on October 31, picking up a draw and two victories, and last conceded four away from home in a 4-0 at Bologna on January 12. Cyril Thereau found the net three times in the last four rounds, 23 in Serie A overall. The Veronese club has never won in Turin with four draws and six losses between Serie A and B.
Verona have won all but one of their nine games at the Bentegodi this season, losing only to local rivals Chievo. Luca Toni went up to 116 Serie A goals, catching Sandro Mazzola in the all-time charts, and has put eight past Lazio.

Genoa suffered their third defeat under Gian Piero Gasperini and amassed just three draws in the last five rounds, their longest winless streak of the season.
Nico Lopez scored only his second Serie A goal, the other being on his August 2012 debut in Roma-Catania. Defender Thomas Heurtaux is now Udinese’s joint top scorer with Antonio Di Natale on four goals and is one shy of his personal best set with Caen in 2011. All three of Luca Siligardi’s strikes have been at the Stadio Picchi. Livorno have one point from their last six games and won just one in 14 rounds. The Amaranto haven’t beaten Udinese since a 1-0 result in 2006, scraping one draw from the next six encounters. In fact, Livorno’s only other victory in this fixture was back in 1931 in Serie B.
