Esteban Cambiasso has pledged to see out his career in Argentina, “but only after my contract with Inter expires in 2014.”
The midfielder arrived on a free transfer from Real Madrid and became one of their best bargains as well as a hero to supporters.
“In football it is difficult to talk about the future,” ‘Chuchu' told Argentine newspaper Olè.
“I still have three years to run on my deal and want to respect the commitments I made to Inter.
“I do want to return to play in Argentina, but only after my contract with Inter expires in 2014.”
Cambiasso turns 31 in August and first joined the Nerazzurri in 2004.
