Genoa and Italy defender Domenico Criscito confirms “Inter and Milan made me offers in January.”
It was widely reported that the 24-year-old international was a transfer target during the mid-season window for big clubs including Napoli, Bayern Munich and the San Siro giants.
“I found out that Inter and Milan made me offers in January, but while I continue to wear the Genoa shirt, I will do my best to honour the club colours,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
Criscito is thought to be worth around €15m and is still of interest to Luciano Spalletti's Zenit St Petersburg.
Today Genoa President Enrico Preziosi hinted that he could do more deals with Inter after transfers like Diego Milito, Thiago Motta and Houssine Kharja.
“Was he referring to me? I don't know, you'd have to ask the President,” added Criscito.
