There are conflicting reports over the length of Edy Reja’s contract with Lazio to replace Vladimir Petkovic.
The club is making moves to bring in a new tactician after Petkovic officially signed to become Switzerland manager following the 2014 World Cup.
Lazio maintain he lied about negotiations with the Swiss Federation, putting him in breach of contract , but a legal battle could break out.
Reja has already confirmed he’s going to take the job , though heavy snow in Cortina is blocking President Claudio Lotito, so the announcement is expected to be put back to Sunday.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Reja will sign a six-month contract worth €400,000 with an option for a second season if he wins the Europa League.
He would then be given a job as director while Lazio line up Basel Coach Murat Yakin for next season.
However, Sky Sport Italia claim Reja has put pen to paper on a long-term contract that runs until June 2015.
Reja already worked at Lazio from February 2010 to June 2012, when Petkovic took over.
