It's reported Milan directors met with Paulo Henrique Ganso's agents tonight to overtake Inter in the transfer race.
The Santos starlet is among the biggest catches on the South American market and has long been of interest to both San Siro sides.
Inter had been the favourites, but this evening it's claimed on Sky Sport Italia that Milan directors had a summit with Ganso's agents.
Vice-President Adriano Galliani allegedly met with Ganso's brother, who is also his agent, and representatives of company DIS.
The Rossoneri presented guarantees that would convince the player to choose them ahead of their local rivals.
Now it is up to Inter to present a counter-offer.
