With rumours he will leave Torino, Alessio Cerci has revealed that his ambition is ‘to play in the Champions League’.
The Italy international has been in sensational form this season for Il Toro, and has attracted attention from the likes of Roma and Manchester United.
And the winger has admitted that he wants to play at the very highest level, but is happy at Giampiero Ventura’s men.
“In Turin there is an environment that has given me a lot,” he told La Stampa.
“But my ultimate ambition is to play in the Champions League.
“Right now we are seventh, but the goal at the end of the season is to avoid relegation.”
