“Roma, Napoli and other big clubs asked about Martin Caceres,” revealed the Juventus man’s agent.
The Uruguay international full-back has made just two Serie A appearances this season, plus three in the Champions League and one in the Coppa Italia – where he scored a goal.
With the World Cup approaching in June, it’s rumoured the 26-year-old will ask for a January transfer to secure more playing time.
“Roma, Napoli and other big clubs asked about Caceres,” confirmed agent Daniel Fonseca in Tuttosport.
“However, Martin is in love with Juventus and wants to remain in Turin. Of course I expected him to play more, because he is a very strong defender, but it’s only normal at a big club like Juve to have a large squad full of quality.”
