Sporting Lisbon confirmed they are “negotiating Fabian Rinaudo’s loan to Catania.”
The 26-year-old Argentine midfielder also holds an Italian passport due to his roots and has been in Lisbon since arriving from Gimnasia La Plata in July 2011.
However, he played only three League games this season, all of them as a substitute.
“Rinaudo’s agent spoke to me about Catania’s proposal to take him on loan,” Sporting Lisbon director of sport Augusto Inacio told TMW.
“We are evaluating the situation along with the player and will then make a decision. Catania want the player on loan with an option to buy.”
