Domenico Criscito has ruled out a potential transfer to Zenit St Petersburg. “I'll never play where it's really cold!”
The delicate Genoa defender admitted this week that he has already received offers from Inter and Milan, while Bayern Munich and Zenit are also potential new clubs.
“For the moment I am thinking only of Genoa and not my future,” said Criscito.
“One thing is certain: I'll never play where it's really cold, like Eastern Europe!”
This seems to put paid to reports that Zenit were in advanced negotiations with Genoa and Criscito's representatives.
The player was able to test the weather this week when playing in Italy's 2-0 international friendly victory in Ukraine.
