Stefano Pioli admitted that his Bologna side missed Alessandro Diamanti’s presence as they lost 2-0 to Catania on Monday.
“The absence of Diamanti was important,” he told Rai Sport. “Especially at this point in the season.
“We knew that Catania could produce from dead-ball situations, but the penalty towards the end complicated things for us.”
The Rossoblu Coach then commented on whether his team will bring in some players over January.
“We’ll have to evaluate things and see what happens,” he said. “But we could do with some more numbers.”
