Lazio President Claudio Lotito believes that new Coach Edy Reja has ‘restored calm’ to the club after an uncertain Christmas break.
The capital side were in a state of turmoil during the holidays with Vladimir Petkovic’s future in limbo.
Eventually however, Reja was appointed as the new boss and the Biancocelesti chief has praised the returning manager after their 1-0 win over Inter.
“Edy has brought back some calm and serenity,” he told Italia 1. “That was not there before.”
Lotito then launched into an astonishing attack on Petkovic.
“Before there was someone whose head was somewhere else!
“Unfortunately, in the end, I found the true identity of this person. Until this year we had an idyllic relationship – then his ego grew and he thought he could do what he wanted.
“We’ll have to wait and see how this situation ends.”
