Doctors hinted Inter man Mauro Icardi’s injury problems are made worse by his controversial love life.
The striker has been suffering from a sports hernia since the start of November, managing only 17 minutes of football.
He has never been far from the headlines, though, after getting together with his friend Maxi Lopez’s ex-wife Wanda Nara.
A TV star in Argentina, Nara is in several magazines discussing her energetic love life with the 20-year-old.
“Although I would exclude a direct correlation between the two activities, there does need to be some common sense,” specialist Dr Andrea Campi told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“It is obvious that someone who just underwent surgery for a sports hernia ought to have as calm a lifestyle as possible, avoiding excessive physical strain.”
There are growing reports Inter are irritated at Icardi’s attitude and on-going injury problems, so he could be farmed out on loan to Serie B side Trapani.
