Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero will miss Sunday's trip to Roma after being ruled out for 15 days with an injury he sustained in training on Thursday.
The talismanic striker underwent a scan this morning to ascertain the damage and it only confirmed Juventus' worst fears.
Del Piero has strained the adductor muscle in his left thigh and faces at least two weeks' on the sidelines.
It comes as a real blow to Juventus so soon after losing their centre-back Giorgio Chiellini for a month.
