Udinese director Christian Giaretta believes they can “convince Antonio Di Natale not to retire at the end of the season.”
The striker announced this would be his final campaign, as he would hang up his boots in May after 10 years at the Stadio Friuli.
“We can convince Di Natale not to retire at the end of the season,” director of sport Giaretta told Sky Sport Italia today.
“He still has another year left on his contract. His comments were just an outburst after a defeat, but this week he seemed calmer.”
Coach Francesco Guidolin has also said he hopes to change Di Natale’s mind.
