Palermo fans will march to support President Maurizio Zamparini, but he insists the new era “has already begun.”
The patron announced he was so disgusted by the refereeing decisions in Wednesday's 3-1 defeat to Milan that he was selling the club.
Rosanero fans will march through the city streets before Sunday's Sicilian derby.
“I hope that sooner or later all the fans of the small clubs and some of the big ones, who despite their support for different sides all want another type of football, can hit the streets to protest for a radical change,” Zamparini told Sky Sport Italia.
“Tomorrow I will be at the stadium to watch the derby and be close to the team. However, I will not change my mind.
“I am too old to keep fighting. I have already given orders to sell the club, so the new post-Zamparini era has already begun.”
