Milan have confirmed that they have appointed Clarence Seedorf as Coach until June 2016.
The Dutchman confirmed his retirement from playing earlier this week to return to the Rossoneri as replacement to Max Allegri on the bench.
On from yesterday arriving in the city to catch the team’s Coppa Italia win over Spezia, the 37-year-old was pictured today completing formalities on his agreement to begin work at San Siro.
Following this, Milan have now released a short statement to confirm Seedorf’s appointment, and the length of his contract.
“Milan communicate that Clarence Seedorf is the new Coach of the first team squad and has signed a contract until June 30, 2016,” read the club’s brief posting on their official website.
It makes official Seedorf’s return to Milan, after 10 years with the club as a player from 2002 to 2012.
