Udinese President Giampaolo Pozzo insists that Coach Francesco Guidolin has the board’s full backing.
The Zebrette are struggling in Serie A this season, lying in 15th place having won just six of their first 19 games.
However, the Friuli outfit’s chief has claimed that the tactician is capable of guiding his side out of danger.
“It’s normal that we’re a bit worried about where we are in the League standings,” he told a Press conference.
“But I am confident, and convinced, that we can fight our way out of this situation.
“And we will do it with Guidolin, who, of course, enjoys our full confidence.
“In my opinion, he will be able to pull this side out of the bad moments its experiencing.”
Pozzo then turned his attention to Antonio Di Natale’s comments that he will retire at the end of the season.
“He’s playing as if he were a boy – he’ll go on for a while yet!”
