It is a weakened side, as star striker Toni has been ruled out by a flu virus, while today Jorginho completed his transfer to Napoli.
“We are not lacking options and when called upon they have all done well,” argued Coach Mandorlini in his Press conference.
“In midfield we have players like Ezequiel Cirigliano, Massimo Donati and Marco Donadel who can replace Jorginho.
“The one who comes closest to his characteristics is certainly Cirigliano, but he is coming off a long injury and so we’ll have to wait and see.
“It cannot be denied, though, that we are losing an important player for the balance of the side.”
Milan are in crisis after a 4-3 defeat to Sassuolo, but Mandorlini fears the effect of Clarence Seedorf’s arrival on the bench.
“Seedorf will certainly bring enthusiasm, but despite the respect and curiosity I have in seeing him make his management debut, I doubt he has a magic wand.
“We must make the most of Milan’s weaknesses to play a great game and cause them big problems. The Rossoneri remain the favourites anyway, because they have players of such quality.”
