Cagliari goalkeeper Federico Marchetti is back in the squad for the first time this season after a contract dispute.
The shot-stopper had started for Italy in the 2010 World Cup, but when suggesting he'd like a transfer away from Sardinia, was frozen out.
Marchetti has been dropped for almost a year now, but returned to play with the Primavera youth team last week.
He has been called up for a Serie A match for the first time this season and will be on the bench against Genoa.
This move has only been made because Ivan Pelizzoli is out injured.
Cagliari squad: Agazzi, Marchetti; Agostini, Ariaudo, Astori, Canini, Magliocchetti, Perico, Pisano; Biondini, Cossu, Laner, Lazzari, Missiroli, Nainggolan, Ceppelini; Acquafresca, Ragatzu, Gallon
