There are reports Milan defender Philippe Mexes rejected a move to Trabzonspor, as he is waiting for Monaco.
It has become clear in recent weeks that the France international is no longer part of their plans for the future.
He had been in advanced negotiations with Turkish side Trabzonspor, but according to L’Equipe he has now turned down that option.
The French newspaper claims Mexes is waiting for a firm offer from Claudio Ranieri’s Monaco, though Fiorentina are also interested.
Meanwhile, the Rossoneri have been linked with a swoop for Cagliari goalkeeper Michael Agazzi in June, when he will be a free agent.
