Inter President Erick Thohir flew in from Indonesia today to “support the team and get the management together for evaluations.”
The patron touched down at Malpensa Airport this morning and will be in the stands at San Siro for this afternoon’s Serie A tie against Catania. Click here for a match preview.
“I’m here to support the team and for appointments, starting Monday, we'll get the management together for evaluations, to grow the business of course and also for January transfers,” Thohir told journalists.
“My mood? With life, sometimes you’re on the top, sometimes you’re on the bottom. You have to accept that.”
Thohir arrives in a tense period for the Nerazzurri, as on Tuesday he pulled the plug on an exchange deal between Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic and their midfielder Fredy Guarin.
The sudden turnaround prompted a furious rebuke from Juve director general Beppe Marotta.
