Hellas Verona are awaiting only Marquinho’s response before tying up his capture from Roma on an initial loan deal.
The 27-year-old has struggled to make an impact since moving to the Italian capital in 2012 and has been increasingly linked with a move to the Gialloblu this January.
According to reports in Italy, a move to Verona is all but agreed, and awaits only the player’s final approval.
On from turning down Genoa earlier in the month, transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio says that Marquinho is delaying his answer out of the ambition that Inter may come in with a late bid.
Should no such offer arrive, then the Brazilian will complete his deal with Verona, which could be as soon as tomorrow.
