Alessandro Matri says he is happy for Juventus and for himself after getting the winner in Sunday's trip to Roma.
Juventus won 2-0 and look as though they might qualify for Europe after all with seven games of the season remaining.
Speaking to Sky Italia, Matri said: "We are happy with the result and the performance considering how we managed the game after taking the lead.
"We didn't sit back like we have done in the past, but continued to play as if it were 0-0.
"I didn't imagine starting 2011 so well - the goals with Juventus, Italy and the praise from the Coach.
"I have always worked for this and even if it's all happening very quickly, I am happy and want to continue at this level."
