Lazio boss Edy Reja today praised his players’ attitude and growth in the wake of their 2-0 away win over Chievo.
The Biancocelesti are now on a five game unbeaten league run that has seen them return to the top half of the Serie A table and the 68-year-old is pleased with the progress his charges are making.
“I’m very satisfied at the moment,” he commented. “We’ve gone through an important period of growth.”
“We played badly at Bologna but gave Juve and Napoli a good game. Yesterday this period of growth culminated and we were able to give a good performance for the full ninety minutes.
“The players’ work during the week is very convincing and it is clear that the lads believe mentally in what we are doing.
“With security come results. Everyone is playing their part.
“By comparison to the first week we have grown a lot. We’ve strengthened a bit from a physical point of view as well.”
