Andrea Dossena claims Napoli will do their best to take the title race right down to the wire in Serie A.
The Partenopei currently lie second in the table just three points behind League leaders Milan.
Speaking to Radio Marte, Dossena said: "We are in the race seven games from the end.
"Our achievement is that of getting back into it. We are proud and want to go all the way.
"I have been here for a year and I have become Neapolitan. I am very happy. I love the city and the people."
Asked about Edinson Cavani, he said: "I followed him while I was in England. I never had the opportunity to truly appreciate him.
"He works a lot and spurs us on a lot. Cavani's best weapon is his hunger for victory. He wants to finish on high like us.
"We are a machine that doesn't stop. Perfection doesn't exist in football. We are working on our limits and trying to improve them."
