Andrea Mandorlini rued Verona’s errors last night against Torino, remarking that: “It was not our evening.”
The Gialloblu outfit fell to a 3-1 defeat at home to Il Toro, despite holding a half-time lead. For their Coach, the 10-minute second-half spell that saw them concede three times was costly.
“I have nothing to say to the team. There are no words,” Mandorlini reflected post-match.
“There is sorrow when you lose games like that, moreover games last 90 minutes and even longer.
“We did not run into danger during the first half, but then we conceded three goals in a few minutes [in the second half].
“We have paid dearly for the errors. The team has not risked anything at first. It was not our evening, even as in the first half we playing some important passages.
“We had to wait for them. Torino were better than us.”
