New Inter forward Andy Polo has spoken of his delight at having secured a recent move to the Nerazzurri.
The Peruvian joined the San Siro giants from San Martin on transfer deadline day and has been training with the Primavera squad.
“It is a dream come true,” Polo told Elcomercio.pe. “I have always wanted to play in Europe and in Italy, in one of the most competitive leagues around.
“I never gave up hope and now I am here.
“I thought I would have to wait until June to move but then my agent told me I could move to Europe two days before the end of the transfer window.
“It all happened very quickly and San Martin were very nice to me.”
The exciting prospect then spoke about life in Milan since joining the club.
“Initially I have been training with the Primavera squad and I met some of my teammates.
“The medical tests were very rigorous and were done over two days.
“But now the goal is for me to adapt to the group as soon as I can.”
