Zenit Coach Luciano Saplletti says his side have the chance to make history when they take on Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
The Italian, who has been working in Russia since 2009, believes the tie is a great opportunity to bring joy to the fans and the city of St Petersburg as a whole.
“This competition demands a lot of effort and a lot of energy,” Spalletti told UEFA’s official website.
“We are working very hard to be able to get through and, in time, grow and improve.
“We have a responsibility to bring joy to many fans and we have a fantastic city right behind us.
“I’ve told the boys that we have the chance to write a page of history here.”
