It’s reported Italy’s June 4 friendly against Luxembourg will be played at the Stadio Bentegodi in Verona.
The venue for the test match ahead of the World Cup has not yet been finalised, but La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Verona is the one.
It would be the Azzurri’s first game at the Bentegodi since a 1-1 draw with Uruguay on April 22 1989.
This is going to be Italy’s final test ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The Bentegodi is used by both Hellas Verona and Chievo in Serie A.
