Nicolas Burdisso insists Roma are concentrating on finishing in fourth place rather than simply overtaking Lazio.
Tempers have flared between the two rivals this week after Edy Reja appeared to suggest Roma were benefiting from favourable decisions.
Saturday's 2-1 win against Udinese means Roma currently lie sixth in Serie A, four points adrift of Lazio who occupy the fourth and final Champions League spot.
"Seeing the table it will be a passionate end to the season," Burdisso said. "There are no favourites for fourth place.
"However, Lazio are up there right now, but both us and them still have difficult games to play.
"We aren't thinking about Lazio, but rather concentrating on the pitch."
