Schalke manager Ralf Rangnick insists his side won't defend the 5-2 first leg lead. “Inter's defence is vulnerable, so we'll play to win.”
The Germans caused a huge upset with their victory at San Siro and could lose 3-0 at home but still qualify for the Champions League semi-final.
“We will play to win,” said the Coach. “We know that we are facing a strong and well-constructed side, but Inter's defence is vulnerable.
“Tomorrow as in the first leg, we have to make the most of the spaces they leave us.
“There is one more step before we can talk about a semi-final. The objective is not far from our grasp, but we remain only half-way through our journey.
“We've got to step on to the field as if it were goalless, without thinking about the San Siro result.”
Lucio returns from suspension for Inter, but Cristian Chivu is ruled out along with Schalke star Jefferson Farfan.
“We will have to do without an important player, but every team must compensate for any absence,” continued Rangnick.
“Julian Draxler is one of the options to take his place, but nothing has been decided yet. I can only say there won't be huge changes from the first leg line-up.”
