Milan striker Alexandre Pato has got behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic following his second successive red card in Serie A.
Ibrahimovic was sent off for dissent on Sunday and has been suspended for Milan's next three League matches.
Milan patron Silvio Berlusconi is unhappy with Ibrahimovic's conduct, telling reporters that he now feels money has been wasted on him.
Interviewed by the Milan Channel, Pato said: "Ibra is a super champion. I hoped he wouldn't get this ban, but I am sure he'll return in a hurry and give us a hand like he always has done."
Asked about their compatibility up front, Pato replied: "There is always someone who puts too many words in people's mouths. We are friends and I am very happy to play with Ibra."
