Sampdoria’s Stefano Okaka puts his team’s recent success down to the fantastic atmosphere within the Blucerchiati dressing room.
The forward scored the decisive goal in last night’s 2-1 win at Sassuolo, the Genoa outfit’s fourth win in five matches.
“Unfortunately we played badly in Bergamo,” Okaka told Samp TV. “But now I believe we are better placed to win against any team.
“This is thanks to the fantastic atmosphere that we are lucky to have here.
“Against Fiorentina we played without fear too and from my point of view, I will work every week to continue to improve and give all that I possibly can on the pitch.
“I need to thank all my teammates because when a player goes to a new club half way through the season, it really isn’t easy to find a welcome like my wonderful teammates gave me.”
