Inter’s Fredy Guarin says he always wanted to remain at the club and that his relationship with fans has not suffered since almost joining Juventus.
The Colombian had seemed set to move to the Old Lady in January but has now committed his long term future to the Nerazzurri by signing a new contract.
“Have I burned any bridges with the fans? Not at all,” Guarin said to Caracol Radio. “When you act sincerely and with honesty, people understand everything.
“The fans knew it wasn’t my decision to leave and today I can still say that they are on my side.”
