Roma have joined Juventus and Milan in tracking Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke.
The Belgium international joined Villa from Genk for £7m and has emerged as a star in the Premier League.
He put in an official transfer request last summer, but then withdrew it and instead signed a new four-year contract.
However, there are reports Benteke would like to move on to bigger and better things.
Milan and Juventus had already been linked with a swoop, but Roma have now joined the fray along with Tottenham.
Aston Villa would rather sell their top player abroad than to another Premier League side, but the £20m price-tag could prove an issue.
Roma are prepared to invest with their return to the Champions League next season.
