Aldo Dolcetti believes Cesare Prandelli’s decision to call Milan’s Stephan El Shaarawy into his 42-man Italy squad shows his human side.
The 21-year-old is a surprise inclusion in the party, who will now undergo physical tests next week, due to his long term injury problems.
“It’s great news,” Dolcetti said to Tuttomercatoweb. “The decision has been made with some consideration for the player mentally.
“Prandelli has done a good thing to show some important attention to a boy who has been out for a season. I think it is a piece of news that will do him good.
“Prandelli has shown he has an important understanding of the human aspect of things. For Stephan now it brings positive energy and more motivation.”
