Sportmediaset report that Giovanni Trapattoni could be set to take over as Coach of the Moroccan national team.
The 75-year-old was most recently in charge of Republic of Ireland but left after failing to qualify for this summer’s World Cup.
Rumours began to circulate about the possibility of the veteran tactician heading to Africa a month ago, when a report in L’Equipe claimed it was a straight fight between him and Herve Renard for the post.
It has now however emerged that Trapattoni is set to fly to Casablanca later this afternoon, with the report claiming that he will hold talks with the Moroccan Football Federation on arrival.
It is said that the governing body want to offer the former Milan, Juventus and Inter boss a four year contract to take over as Coach.
