Roma boss Vincenzo Montella and midfielder Jeremy Menez were involved in a training ground bust up on Wednesday.
Il Corriere dello Sport understands Montella spent a quarter of an hour berating the France international.
He apparently is unhappy with Menez's attitude since his arrival.
Earlier this month, Menez told L'Equipe that he didn't understand why Montella left him out of the side.
He also intimated that it might be time to leave the club.
Menez is attracting interest from Juventus, but it's said that he wants a move to England.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are among the clubs monitoring his situation closely.
