Javier Pastore has silenced the speculation about his future. "I want to stay at Palermo," said the Argentine.
The creative midfielder is being paired with some of Europe's top sides after a sensational start to the campaign.
Clubs of the calibre of Chelsea and Barcelona are apparently keen, but the youngster has insisted he is happy at the Stadio Barbera for now.
"I want to stay at Palermo," he stated. "I am happy here and I don't want to talk about any possible transfer."
However, the transfer rumour mill kicked into action again this morning after his hat-trick heroics against Sicilian rivals Catania yesterday.
"I'm happy that I resolved such an important match like the one against Catania," he continued.
"I played in a more offensive position than I usually do on Sunday and I saw more of the goal there."
